Cementing trucks and fracturing trucks are important equipment in cementing and fracturing construction for oil and gas field development. Fracturing trucks are used to inject high-pressure, large-volume fracturing fluid into the well to press the formation open and squeeze the proppant into the cracks. They can also be used for hydraulic sandblasting, high-pressure hydraulic mining in coal mines, and high-pressure hydraulic rust removal on ships. Depending on the specific situation, fracturing trucks can operate alone or in conjunction with each other. Conventional oil and gas fields such as those in the Middle East are prone to self-spraying due to their own high pressure. Fracturing equipment is only used when the pressure decreases due to the age. Generally speaking, 3-5 fracturing trucks with a pressure of 30-50MPa can meet the needs of single-well fracturing. However, shale gas will not spray itself due to its low pressure, so multi-stage fracturing transformation is required. Single-well fracturing may require up to 16 or more fracturing trucks. The development of shale gas in China is more difficult than that in the United States. It is mostly distributed in mountainous areas with complex surface conditions, higher clay and mineral content, and greater air resistance in the rock. At the same time, oil and gas are buried 3,000 meters or even deeper below the surface, which further improves the technical and quality requirements of domestic fracturing equipment.
When the fracturing truck is performing the fracturing process, a pressure transmitter is required to monitor the working pressure of the fracturing pump to ensure normal production and operation safety. The media components that the pressure sensor actually contacts are relatively complex, including water, sand, crude oil, mud, and fracturing fluid. Depending on the different geological and rock formation conditions, different fracturing fluids will be used in fracturing operations, including water-based fracturing fluids, oil-based fracturing fluids, acidic fracturing fluids, etc. Therefore, the pressure transmitter of the fracturing truck must have good corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Most fracturing trucks use diesel engines to drive fracturing pumps for fracturing operations. During the process, there will be constant large vibrations, which requires the fracturing truck pressure transducer to have good anti-vibration capabilities. First, it prevents the pressure sensor from loosening due to vibration and causing safety accidents. Secondly, it requires the pressure transmitter to maintain measurement accuracy under vibration.
At present, there are also some electrically driven fracturing equipment. Unlike diesel engine drive, electrically driven fracturing equipment will produce greater electromagnetic interference, which will adversely affect the signal transmission of the pressure sensor. Therefore, the fracturing truck pressure transmitter must have good anti-interference capabilities.
It is very important that the oil field operating environment is a flammable and explosive environment. In this environment, all equipment and instruments must be explosion-proof. According to relevant national regulations, the equipment and instruments in this occasion must obtain nationally recognized explosion-proof certificates.
CSPPM Sensor has been deeply involved in the field of sensors for more than ten years. The PPM-T293 series of fracturing truck pressure sensors launched by CSPPM Sensor have been widely used by oilfield industry customers in Russia, Australia, Singapore and other regions, reducing costs and creating value for oilfield companies. CSPPM Sensor’s fracturing truck pressure sensors have complete specifications, from low pressure 5000psi to high pressure 20000psi, from 1502 unions to 2002 unions and 2202 unions, to meet the needs of users under different working conditions and different equipment. CSPPM Sensor will continue to be committed to providing better quality and more cost-effective sensor products for oil and gas field development and oilfield equipment, and make contributions to the oilfield industry.
